Lord Fairfax Community College has scheduled “Introduction to Sociology” at the Warren County Votechnical Center, Front Royal on Monday evenings from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuition for Virginia residents is $77.85.
Introduction to Sociology is designed to provide the student with a formal orientation to the multifaceted systems of human interaction that make up the concept of “society.” The course will focus on popular topics of interest in the discipline of sociology, and the specific features/approaches undertaken by the discipline in developing a better understanding of social interaction processes. “Introduction to Sociology” is an undergraduate core Course to persons interested in developing a better understanding of the society in which they live and in their overall career education efforts.
