Bryan Silvey
Bryan Steven Silvey, 24, of Damascus, Md., died August 13, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
A native of Washington, D.C., he was the son of Carroll Jackson and Ruth Eleaner Pollock Silvey of Wheaton, Md.
He was vice-president and office manager for the Eslin C. of Hyattsville, Md., a building contractor. He was a mamber of the National Rifle Association, the Moose Lodge of Warrenton, Va., and Wheaton Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Chantal Reefe Silvey; his parents; a son, Wesley Steven Silvey, Damascus; a brother, Craig Silvey, Damascus; a sister, Carol Silvey, Wheaton; and a grandmother, Geraldine Pollock, Chillicothe, Ohio.
A funeral was held on August 16, at Amissville Baptist Church, the Rev. Jim Floyd officiating, with interment in the family cemetary at Amissville.
Nannie Crist
Nannie Viola Crist, 58, of Luray, died August 12 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Crist was bom May 29, 1930 in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Joseph Shelton and Sally Wince Grimsley. She was a former employee of the Blue Bell Co. She was a member of the Page Valley Baptist Church. She was married to the late Samuel D. Crist Sr.
Surviving are one son, Samuel D. Crist Jr., Luray; three daughters, Doris Buracker, Stanley and Catherine Crist and Nancy C. Kibler, both of Luray; two brothers, John S. Grimsley, Front Royal; five sisters, Frances Eubanks, Washington, Va., Vergie Hutchinson and Etta Nossett, both of Front Royal, Audrey Butler, Hagerstown, Md. and Pearl Henry, Bentonville; and six grandchildren.
