fall meeting
The Shenandoah’s District Fall Meeting, Virginia Federation of 1 Garden Clubs, will be held Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Shrinemont Conference Center in Orkney Springs. Reservations are to be made with Mrs. Thomas P. Carter, Route 1, Box 155, New Market, VA. 22844. Deadline for reservations are Sept. 30 and no refunds will be given after Oct. 7.
In conjuction with the Fall District meeting, there will be workshops on Horticulture and Designs on Oct. 12. Also on Thursday, Oct. 13, there will be a workshop on the new handbook. Registrations for the workshops should be made with • Mrs, Louise Speakman, 433 Briar- mont Drive, Winchester, VA. 22601. Deadline for registration is Sept. 29. No refunds for cancellations after Oct. 6. This workshop is open to all garden club members and their friends.
No one will be admitted to any workshop without an entry ticket.
