The marriage of Anne Katherine Stokes to Daniel Keith Callahan, of Harrisonburg, took place Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Young Stokes of Sperryville. Mr. Callahan’s parents are Dr. and Mrs. Donald Morris Callahan of Harrisonburg;“.

Dr. John F. Sloop performed the double ring ceremony. The wedding music was by Dr. Richard McPherson and Dr. James Kluesner.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory satin gown accented with seed pearls and alencon lace, with a bouffant satin skirt. Lace appliques and garlands were scattered through the cathedral train. She carried a cascade of bridal white roses, white freesia, stephanotis, white starburst poms and gypsophila.

Mrs. Paula Green-McMahan of Harrisonburg served as matron of honor.
