The firemen will host a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Nov. 12. Admission is $15 per couple. The local band Night Fall will play.

The Amissville Extension Homemakers Club is working on a pillow project forjudging at the Rappahannock County Extension Homemakers Achievement Night to be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Flint Hill Fire Hall.

Sincere sympathy is expressed to the family of Silas Martin Sr. who died last week at the age of 90.

To catch up on a few anniversaries: Mary and Charlie Priest celebrated theirs Sept. 21, while Rev. Paul and Nancy Markee celebrated their special day Sept. 29. More recently Carrington and Lou Smith celebrated their 30th Oct. 7, while Lisa and Curtis Stuart celebrated their seventh Oct. 10.

We are the proud grandparents of a 9 lb., 1 oz. boy, Ronnie Jones Jr. bom on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

Mrs. Elva Compton and Mrs. Anna Fincham enjoyed homecoming on Sunday at Jeffersonton Methodist Church.
