contest

Put on a happy face, or a sad one, or one that’s really scary. Decorate a halloween jack-o’lantem and take it to the nearest Fauquier National Bank location, (Catlett, The Plains, New Baltimore, or Old Town Warrenton), to compete in the Fauquier County Parks and Rec Department’s Third Annual Great Pumpkin Decorating contest!

Each Fauquier National Bank branch will award a first place ribbon to the best-dressed (not carved) pumpkin in each of the following age divisions: preschool, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13 and up.

Registration for the contest is free, and entries will be accepted at the banks beginnig Oct. 25 through noon on Oct. 28. The judging at all branches will be held at 1 p.m.
