While in the States, Anne said that she wants to “see everything,” hut she's most anxious to visit Washington, I). (’. and Williamsburg. She would also like to travel just “to see the land." Anne finds that America’s geography is pleasing to the eye — a contrast, she said, to,the flatness of Belgium.
As far as food is concerned, Anne said that she does not particularly enjoy American cuisine. But, she has been to a Pizza Hut, and pronounced it better than the one in Belgium. Back home, one of her favorite dishes is Escalope pamnee, a type of veal.
Marjanke Hofstra is from Holland. She said that the United States is much larger than she expected.
