Whereas, Louis B. Stephenson, Jr. has completed his final term as Trustee for The Fauquier Flospttal, Inc.; and
Whereas, he has served the hospital as Trustee from its inception in 1934, being instrumental in the initial organizational meeting of the corporation and the acquisition of the first building site. In the years since, he has actively participated in the development and construction of the present structure and has served as a member of the executive committee and as chairman of the Board of Trustees. Throughout his long tenure, his leadership and guidance has enabled the Fauquier Flospital to grow into an institution in which the citizens of Fauquier and surrounding counties may be assured of quality care. His actions as a citizen of Fauquier County have been felt broadly in the community in numerous ways, but he is known especially for having served the needs of many as President of the Fauquier National Bank.
Wherefore, the members of the board of Trustees of The Fauquier Hospital, Inc., in their special meeting in August, 1988 through this resolution recognize and record their deep appreciation for Louis B. Stephenson s service to the hospital and accord him all privileges as a Lifetime Honorary member of the Board of Trustees.
