The marriage of Dawn Lorenn Kenyon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Lorenzo Kenyon Jr. and Robert Fitzgerald Gilmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Leckie Gilmore Jr. took place Saturday, December 17, 1988. The candlelight ceremony was held in the Culpeper United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. with the Reverend Edward Leonard officiating.

The bride’s grandmother is Mrs. toward Olin Mason of Sperryville and the groom is the grandson of Mrs. Clyde Hisey and Mrs. Robert Leckie Gilmore, both of Culpeper.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of white slipper satin. The dress featured a basque waistline with a fitted bodice covered with lace appliques of pearls and sequins. The neckline was trimmed with a satin ruffle and the leg o’mutton sleeves had applique detail of pearls and sequins. A bow \was attached to the back of the dress ileading to a chapel train. The bride jwore a hat trimmed with satin and • appliques like those on her dress. She carried a bouquet of red roses and Christmas greens, t Miss Lou Button of Culpeper served as maid of honor. She wore a tea-length dress of red slipper satin. Her dress also featured a basque Waistline with ruffled neckline like that of the bride’s. The dress had J)uff sleeves with a bow at the back. Ehe carried a bouquet of white carnations, miniature red roses and

ristmas greens.
