P- m. Lloyd, a Cherokee Native American, is well known foe his unique carvings on rare blue pipestone and wood. He has demonstrated and exhibited his works, depicting the history and legend of his ancestors, at the Indian Art Museum in New York City. Among his many achievements, he has been a Tribal Councilman, President of the Cherokee Boys Club and former Director of Save the Children Federation.

GENERAL GRANT General, a Cherokee-Sioux Native American, is known for his bone-handled knives, as well as carvings in wood and stone. He will also be bringing silver bracelets and other jewelry his Navajo wife designs and makes; and he will be accompanied by his two sons who have won many awards for their dancing at Pow-Wows in both the United States and Canada. In addition to their appearance at The Trading Post, the Grants will also be at the Elementary School in Rappahannock County, Friday, January 20, as guests of the P.T.A. and R.A.A.C.
