The new courses to be offered in 1989-90 are advanced placement English and Latin I (both by electronic classroom), Drama, Biology II, French IV and V, advanced physical education for grades 11 and 12, Architectural Drawing, 18-week combinations of Business Law and an employment seminar and Marriage in the Family and Child Care/Parenting and non-credit classes for yearbook and newspaper staff members.
According to the administration, the expansion will require no additional teachers. Rather, five teachers will take an additional daily class period, for which they will be compensated an extra $2,000 apiece.
