Mrs. Greco’s decision makes her the second candidate to announce.
Front Royal Town Councilman Robert J. Traister said last month that he wants the Republican nomination. Another Republican possibility, Elizabeth Board, found she was unable to run because she could not meet the residency requirement.
Warren County Republican Committee Chairman Ronald Gilliam has also been mentioned as a possible candidate.
Speculation on other possible Democratic candidates has centered on Front Royal’s town attorney, David Crump, who is said to be considering a bid for Mr. Guest’s seat. Mr. Crump, the former Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney, is a Flint Hill resident. i Mrs. Greco has been a resident of Warren County for almost 20 years. She is a graduate of James Madison University, where she received a BA in English.
