Wanda Strickler Dellinger and Samuel Doran Snead were married Dec. 10 at Calvary Episcopal Church in Front Royal.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Strickler of Broadway. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead of Washington.
The Rev. Tom Clay performed the double ring ceremony. The musicians were Helen Smith, Annie Hart and Michael Cahill.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal-length gown of offwhite slipper satin which featured a Victorian neckline with an English neck yoke accented with silk venise lace. The sleeves were Victorian style trimmed in matching lace with teardrop cuffs. A fitted bodice molded in venise and Alencon lace formed a basque waistline. The full skirt was edged in matching lace with ruffled flounce flowing into a cathedral-length train at the back. She wore a pouf of French illusion lace with beaded matching lace. Her bouquet was burgundy and white carnations with baby’s breath and holly.
