'Bambi'

The movie Bambi will be playing at the Gay Street Theater on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. and on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. “Bambi” may well be the most adorable and beloved animated character of all time. Disney’s beautiful film, based on the children’s classic, has^ captivated generations of moviegoers. Adults and children alike can t help but fall in love with Bambi and his friends, Thumper and Flower. The movie is rated G. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children.

Committee to form for reunion

There is a commitee forming to plan the 10th reunion of the Rappahannock County High School class of 1979. Interested persons should contact Kim Gilkey Burke, 987-8570 or Carol Atkins, 635-5804.

Woman's Club to meet

The Rappahannock Woman’s Club will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Debbie Massie on Rt. 729. All members are urged to attend. Plans for the upcoming fashion show will be discussed and patron packets will be distributed.

CCLC country dance

The Child Care and Learning Center will hold its annual country dance featuring members of Trapezoid at the Washington Town Hall on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 8 to 11 p.m. Advance reservations are available through CCLC for $7. Admission at the door is $10. All proceeds will go to CCLC’s scholarship fund.
