The Brentsville game was the first start for Coffey who admitted to being “real nervous in front of the home crowd, especially on the last serve when everyone stood up and yelled and started beating on the bleachers.” Coffey says she never served that well in practice, and attributed her performance to having her father in the stands. “He’s my good luck charm.”
