1916 in Warren County, son of the late John Owen Wesley Sealock and Millie Redmon Sealock. He was a member of the Riverton United Methodist Church and Giles B. Cook Post 53 of the American Legion. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 33 of Front Royal and the Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department. He served in World War II and the Korean Conflict and held the rank of sergeant first class upon his retirement from the U.S. Army after 20 years and nine months’ service. He was employed as a sergeant for the Warren County Sheriffs Department for 24 years.
Surviving are his wife, Gay lor C. Sealock; one son, R. Wayne Sealock, Berryville; one daughter, Alice Jean Kresge, Front Royal; two sisters, Hazel Williams and Annabelle Mills, both of Front Royal; two grandsons; and one granddaughter.
A funeral was conducted Jan. 15 at the Turner- Rob<prtshaw Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Heaton. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, with full military honors.
Pallbearers were Eddie Long, George Cleveland, Ronnie Brinkley, Lynn Armentrout, Bobby Jett and Billy Chapman.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Warren County Sheriffs Department, the Front Royal Police Department, Virginia State Police assigned to Warren County and U.S. Federal Police of Cameron Station.
