The Rappahannock County
School Board expressed its concern over the delay in repairs to the elementary school roof at its meeting on Tuesday. The Board had expected to have the roof repairs completed at the end of the session’s first month, but Superintendent Robert Estabrook told the Board that only 40 percent has been finished to date. The Board authorized Estabrook to contact Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke about the legal implications surrounding the contract with the roofing firm.
