Basic parts
Food processors differ from one another in many respects, but they all have certain basic parts in common. These include the motor base which supplies the power. It can be direct-drive, in which case the motor is usually directly below the bowl or belt, which is usually beside or behind the work bowl.
The work bowl holds the food processing. It can be clear or tinted plastic. Clear is preferable, in order to better see the product you are preparing.
