Cathy . and Carrington Smith were dinner guests of Mike and Mary Burns, on the occasion of Mike Jr.’s fourth birthday; also in attendance were his maternal grandparents Mary and Carroll Weimer of Nokesville and sister Aubrey Jean, who also eiyoyed the excitment.
Wednesday, Judy Chandler hosted the United Methodist Women’s annual Christmas party. In lieu of exchanging gifts, gifts were brought for a nursing-home patient or child.
Both United Methodist and Amissville Baptist will have their Christmas plays, Sunday, Dec. 17. Carollers will leave United Methodist at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 23.
