Pureeing:

To puree, place steel blade in work bowl, then add food. Place cover on and let run until food is; smooth. Stop occassionally and scrape down sides of work bowl. It is usually not necessary to add liquid to the work bowl when pureeing.

Mixing:

The food processor has a few lim-, itations. It will not perform all the tasks that the electric mixer can, such as beating egg whites and whipping cream.

When you are creaming or mixing it is not necessary to bring butter, margarine or cream cheese to room temperature before processing. Simply quarter or cube it before putting through food chute.

threading:

Use the steel blade to knead bread or pastry dough. Never use more than 3 cups of flour. To avoid a tough product, never process more than 60 seconds. If the motor should slow down, immediately stop machine and add 1-2 tablespoons flour to work bowl. This should free, dough from blades, and motor, should return to normal speed.
