Amissville Ruritans need volunteers, 8 a.m., this Saturday, Dec. Iff, weather permitting, to complete the roof on the new community center building. A hot lunch will be provided, as well as coffee and donuts in the morning.
Contributions are urgently needed and may be mailed in care of Bill Segrest, Rt. 2, Box 526, Amissville 22002.
New members are always welcomed and encouraged to join the Ruritans. The monthly meeting is held, 7:30 p.m., every third Wednesday, at Amissville Baptist.
Congratulations to Butch Zindel, who was just elected to be the new president. Other new officers include Louis Morrison, vice president; Mike Barnett, secretary; Ed Lawrence, treasurer; Charlie Priest, three-year member of the Board of Directors and Bill Segrest, past president.
