fourth annual Rappahannock Beautification Day is planned for April 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Rappahannock Litter and Recycling Coordinator Nina Stamer said this year’s county event corresponds with the Virginia Department of Waste Management and Virginia Department of Transportation programs adopt-a-highway and adopt-aspot cleanup days, honoring Earth Day, April 22.
She encouraged those groups and individuals part of the adopt-a-high- * way program to use the day as one of their four annual designated cleanup days.
