Plans for replacing the bridge across the Hazel River on Route 707 at Slate Mills is the subject of a public meeting and a public hearing on Tuesday, April 24.
The location and design meetings will be held in the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street in •Washington.
Plans for the proposed project will be exhibited at the public meeting starting at 6 p.m. Virginia Department of Transportation personnel will be available to explain and answer questions.
