Each one of us makes choices every day that effect the world. Reusing a plastic bag instead of tossing it, effectively cuts consumption in half. Using reusable containers or waxed paper reduces it even more. Proper use and disposal of detergents (phosphate-free), pesticides, solvents and petroleum products eases the burdens on landfills and water systems.
We can increase our effectiveness by encouraging our friends, schools, governments, churches and businesses to adopt “environment friendly practices” of consuming less, conserving more and recycling all.
