The Society of the Fairfax Stone (SFFXS), whose demographics include certain counties in West Virginia and Virginia, between the Potomac River and Rappahannock River, will hold its first “Charter Membership Year” meeting Saturday, April 28, at 10 a.m. at the Shenandoah National Park, Fire Cache, Big Meadows, “Skyline Drive”, 22 miles south of Va. Route 211 or 8 miles south of Va. Route 33.

All land-owners within the FFX Land Grant will become executive members and all persons outside the confines of the established grant may become general members. These members wilfinclude all persons interested in a dialogue and interface with landowners, history buffs, surveyors, writers, academics, naturalists, scholars, publishers, environmentalists, governmental agencies, business and industry as individual or several fee holders.
