PROPOSED HIGHWAY PROJECT

ROUTE 707—RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY

Representatives of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a Location and Design Public Hearing on Tuesday April 24, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. in the Rappahannock County Courthouse located on Gay Street in the town of Washington

VDOT representatives will also be present a* the Rappahannock County Courthouse immediately preceding the hearing from 6 00 p rn to 7:30 p.m. for an informal review of available information by interested citizens. All interested persons are encouraged to review the proposal prior to the formal hearing.

The purpose of this Public Hearing will be to consider the pro posed location and design of Route 707 from 0.12 mile west of Route 604E to 0.06 mile east of Route 604E (Bridge and Approaches over Ha zel River) in Rappahannock County.

At this location and design public hearing, relocation assistance programs and tentative schedules for right of way acquisition and construction will also be discussed.

All interested parties are urged to attend and give the Department their comments and suggestions relative to the proposed highway improvement.

Maps, drawings, and other information are available for public review in the Department of Transportation's District Office located on Business Route 15, just south of Route 3, in Culpeper and in its Residency Office located at Business Route 29 at the South Corporate Lim its of Warrenton.

Written statements and other exhibits relative to the proposed project may be presented in place of, or in addition to, oral statements at the hearing. Such written statements and exhibits may also be sub mitted to the Department at any time within ten days after the public hearing.
