a memorial tree planting ceremony conducted by the county’s scouting troops followed by activities including exhibits from the Rappahannock Environmental Protection League (RLEP), the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), Rappahannock Anti-Litter League and You (RALLY), The Virginia Association for Biological Farmers (VABF), and The Rappahannock Garden Club.

“There will be information on RLEP’s nature camp, the Rappahannock County 4-H groups will present an interesting exhibit on welltesting, RALLY will have brochures and information on recycling and getting involved in recycling. And the Garden Club will have a very informative table on green shopping and consumer awareness,” Ms. Stamer said.
