Area writers are invited tc> attend the Weekend Writing Conference in Front Royal at the new Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center on May 18-20.
“We are offering writing workshops in poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and children’s literature, as well as other activities and the time for writers from across Virginia and from other eastern states to meet,” said Laura Kinzinger, spokeswoman for the sponsoring Shenandoah Valley Writer’s Guild.
There are a number of day options throughout the entire weekend for those who cannot stay for the entire conference, and we encourage area writers to attend part of the conference. Our extended deadline for registration is May 1, Ms. Kinzinger said.
