Mitchell Terry, U.S. Army, stationed at the Abeerden Proving ground in Maryland spent the long Thanksgiving holiday with his mother Mrs. Irene Terry and left Wednesday for his new station in Kentucky stopping over to visit his grandmother Mrs. Leslie Terry in Jonesville, Va.

Mr. and Mrs. Tim Thomasson and family formerly of the Blackwater Creek area have moved to Minnesota.

Thanksgiving Day guests of Mr. Herbert Hash were Randy Hash and son Scotty of Winchester and Mr. and Mrs. Happy Hash and family of Springfield. The Happy Hash family remained overnight returning to their home Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Jon Heddleston, Chad, Jonathan, Joy and Bret and Mrs. Anna Fincham of Sperryville were Thanksgiving Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Simpson. Joy spent Friday with her grandparents the Simpsons.
