He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mrs. Edith Leake; seven sons, Ronald Leake of Luray, Michael Leake of Rileyville, Jerry Pounds and Joey Pounds, both of Culpeper, Robby Pounds of Annandale, Ricky Pounds of Woodbridge and Billy Pounds of Rixeyville; three daughters, Linda Leake Candea of Scottsville, Cynthia Leake Breeden of Luray and Donna Martin of Culpeper. Additional survivors include a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Rider of Culpeper and 22 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 28 at Woodland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Nancy B. White officiating. Interment was in Sperry ville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Trenton C. Burke, Warren Rollins, Jimmy Wayland, Randall Amos, Roger Mitchell, Rodney Vest and Bernard Vaughn.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodland United Methodist Church, Rt. 2 Box 311, Culpeper, Va. 22701.

Found and Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.

Izaar Atkins

Mrs. Izzar Virginia Atkins, 84, of Frederick, Md., formerly of Sperryville, died Saturday, Nov. 28 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Atkins was a native of Sperryville, the daughter of the late Douglas and Mary Jane Dodson.

She is survived by her husband, Kinsey Atkins; four sons, Charles Atkins of Martinsburg, W.Va., Sherman Atkins of Harrisonburg, James Atkins of Frederick, Md. and Russell Atkins of Front Royal; four daughters, Marie Foster and Sadie Baker, both of Front Royal, Laura Ann Smoot of Washington and Charlotte Atkins of Altimat Springs, Fla; 28 grandchildren and a half-sister, Dale Dodson.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Ellen Atkins and a son, Pete Atkins.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Washington Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Kirby Shenk officiating.
