After working for more than a year as one of the emergency room physicians at Page Memorial Hospital, Dr. James W. Feeley III has opened a practice in family medicine in association with Page Healthcare Associates in Luray.

Dr. Feeley grew up in New York City and graduated from Xavier High School and received his BA degree in Psychology from Queens College in Flushing, N.Y. In 1982 he graduated from Cornell University Medical College as a doctor of Medicine. He completed a one year internship in Family Practice at Southside Hospital in conjunction with SUNY Stony Brook and a two year residency in Family Practice at Mountainside Hospital in conjunction with the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Medical experience since graduation includes Medical Director of the Sioux Valley Medical Clinic, Anthon, Iowa, physical Medical staff president/Director of ER and US for Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital and Chief Physician Reviewer for Kentucky State Professional Review Organization. He has also served as physician reviewer for the State of Virginia Physician Review Organization and worked as ER physician for Smyth County Hospital in Marion, Va. and Saltvilla Medical Center of Saltville, Va.
