Rappahannock News Staff Pholo/Sean Kilpatrick Benji Roy tries a layup during the Alumni basketball tournament held this past weekend at Rappahannock County High School. Teammate Marley Hay awaits a possible rebound on the left, while Mike Payne seems somewhat startled by Roy’s sudden appearance. Four teams of high school alumni competed in the two-day event to raise money for the athletic department. After paying expenses the department will net about $750. The semi-final games on Friday night were both close and exciting but Saturday’s games were blowouts. Roy and his teammates were the easy winners of the tourney.
