Candelight concert
The Culpeper-Piedmont Choral Society will present it’s 2(>th annual Christmas Concerts at 8 p.m. on Dec. 4 at Orange Presbyterian Church in Orange and at 3 p.tn. and 8 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Culpeper United Methodist Church in Culpeper. Under the direction of Lois Shanks, the program this year will include a variety of wonderful songs of the season, including selections by John Rutter to Ave Marius and something special, just for fun. Library series to continue
On Dec. 4 the Rappahannock Library's First Friday SerieB, in association with the Historical Society, presents “Down From the Mountains,” a program that will examine life in the Blue Ridge Mountains before the existence of Shenandoah National Park and the effects of the Park's creation on those who had to move. The program iB at 8 p.m. with refreshments to follow. Admission is free.
Craft festival
A craft festival will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at St. Luke’s Lutheran School in Culpeper. There will be crafters with wood items, iewelrv, Christmas decorations, food and drinks. Spaces may be rented by calling Peggy Brown at 826-3091 after 6 p. m.
Step Aerobic classes
Step Aerobic classes will be held at the Amissville fire hall beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost is $30 for four weeks. Bring your own step. Call 987-4068 or 849-2791 for more information.
