Scouts plan new
service center
The Shenandoah Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, which covers the nine county area of Frederick, Clarke, Shenandoah, Warren, Rappahannock, and Page in Virginia; and Berkeley, Morgan, and Jefferson in West Virginia is constructing a new Scouting Service Center. The new facility will be built in the Youth Development Center located on Shawnee Drive in Winchester.
A special ground breaking ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4 at the site to celebrate the occasion. All scouts, leaders, former Scouters, and the general public are invited to attend.
