Homecoming this Saturday, Oct. 23 at Rappahannock County High School has plenty of events planned for everyone attending the soccer game and festivities. Led by coaches Wayne Dodson and Jeremy Tole, alumni will play against RCHS allstars. Alumni Gary Leake requests that all alumni playing in the game wear dark shirts, preferably navy blue. The game begins promptly at 2 p.m.
Alumni players who have not preregistered may show up on time and play anyway.
This has been Spirit Week at RCHS, kicked off with a very enthusiastic pep rally held in the gym Monday afternoon. Faculty judged the spirit (cheering) of each class, and decided that the juniors won. Also on Monday, students wore blue and gold to show their support. Tuesday was “hat day”, Wednesday “imitation day," the students imitate teachers and vice versa, Thursday is “()0’s day”, and Fridav is “college or pro sport day," wear clothes in support of your favorite team.
Each class has been decorating a section of the school, selecting their representatives for the homecoming court, and preparing floats for the halftime parade.
