October is Alpha Delta Kappa month. ADK is a national educational sorority for outstanding women educators. RCES ADK sisters have recognized all RCES educators for their hard work and dedication to their school and students.

LFCC Award
The Lord Fairfax Community College Educational Foundation proudly announces that Brandon Catts, a 1993 Fauquier High School graduate, has been awarded the Ranee Lee Spellman Memorial Award at Lord Fairfax Community College for the 1993-94 academic year.
Mr. Catts was an active member of the Fauquier Chapter of Future Farmers of America, a member of the Fauquier High School band, and a representative on the Fauquier High School Executive Council. Following his studies in the management of natural resources at Lord Fairfax, Catts plans to continue his education at Virginia Tech.
The memorial award to honor the late farm foreman of Points of View Farm in Rappahannock County was established in 1983 by Spellman’s employer, Patricia Saltonstall.
