Monday, Oct. 25: Steak nuggets, mashed potatoes, broccoli with cheese sauce, whole wheat roll or sausage pizza or French fries.

Tuesday, Oct. 26: Bacon cheeseburger on bun, seasoned curly fries, hot cherry cobbler with cool whip or chicken pattie on bun or seasoned curly fries.

Wednesday, Oct. 27: Vegetable beef soup, bologna and cheese sandwich, potato rounds, apple pixie pie or hot dog on bun or potato rounds.

Thursday, Oct. 28: Spooky chili, stuffed witch, golden goblin salad, ghostly corn bread, pumpkin juice or pepperoni pizza or horror fries.

Friday, Oct. 29: Inservice

Choice of milk accompanies each meal.

Winter Festival

Fashion Show

The Rappahannock/Culpeper Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary sorority for women educators, if sponsoring a “Winter Festival” fashion show at Precious Blood Catholic Church Parish Hall at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7.

Brass Buttons and The First Years in Culpeper are providing the women’s and children’s fashions.

Proceeds will be used to award scholarships at both Culpeper and Rappahannock High Schools.

Tickets are $5 for adutls and $3.50 for children. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

Chariot Races

Shenandoah Races is pleased to announce the second running of the Fall Colors Race Meet on Sunday, Oct. 24 at historic Mt. Airy Farm in Mt. Jackson. Spectators will be treated to a card of 11 thrilling steeplechase and chariot races.

Gates open at 10 a.m. and the first race is at 1 p.m.
