Two residents of Amissville, Buster Williafns and his father Charles Williams, said that Mr. Haun gave them the two snowmobiles, and the three of them travelled to Flint Hill to pick them up and return them to Amissville. Charles Williams said that Mr. Haun told him that someone had given him the two snowmobiles.
Ms. Wiley decided to press charges against Mr. Haun when she showed up to pick up her snowmobiles, and Mr. Haun told her that he did not know where they were. She had been there two days before to pick them up, but had left them there when she discovered bees in-; side them.
The jury deliberated for one and a half hours before rendering their decision to convict Mr. Haun of grand larceny.
