Were so happy to report that Rebecca Harrup is out of Intensive Care. She is in room 622 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with her for a speedy recovery.

Amissville Volunteer Fire Chief J.B. Carter announces a dry hydrant was recently installed on Route 640, of U.S. 211. Ms. Kathryn Gaines gave her permission to have the hydrant installed on her pond and land for its use.
The Department expresses its gratitude to Ms. Gaines, as well as Junior Fletcher who donated his back-hoe for use in the installation.
