Auction Planned
As Fundraiser

Amissville United Methodist Church is holding an auction from 69 p.m. on Friday, June 10. This third in a series of fundraisers will be for restoring the church - especially the Sanctuary - which was built just prior to the Civil War. Age has taken its toll, and a new roof is needed as well as structural and interior repair.
Auctioneer Bill Payne, VAAR . 914, is donating his services to conduct this event for the church. Glassware, collectibles, dolls, furniture, and antiques will be available as well as many other items. There will also be delicious home-baked goods, barbeque, sandwiches, and drinks for sale during the evening.
Come out and support a worthy cause as you browse, bid and buy. Sales tax will need to be collected. If an individual or business wishes to donate an item for this auction, its value will be tax deductible. Please contact 937-3062 or 937-4515 for more information.
