The Piedmont Feline Rescue League will hold a yard sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 at Mary’s Little Shop in Woodville, junction of U.S. 522 and Route 621.

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board invites persons 60 years of age and older to participate in the following Health Promotion/Screening Programs to be held at the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Center: Blood Pressure Checks by Marion Sharp at 11:30 a.m. on June 17 and Program on Diabetes by Gil Wibb at 11:30 a.m. on June 22. i

Books Sought
The Friends of the Rappahannock County Library are requesting books for this years annual 4th of July Book Sale. Each year the library receives thousands of donated used books but very few children’s books. The Friends are putting out a special plea for books especially children’s books. The Library does not accept text books or Readers Digest condensed books. Please call or drop by the Rappahannock County Library.
