John Creel

John Perry Creel, 81, of Culpeper, died Wednesday, May 25 at his home.

Mr. Creel was bom Dec. 12, 1912, in Culpeper to the late Isaiah Perry Creel and Valleria Kilby.

He was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church.

Mr. Creel is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lucy Brown Creel; three sons, John C. Creel, W. Gordon Creel and Perry L. Creel, all of Culpeper and one daughter, Gloria C. Lohr of Madison.

He is also survived by two sisters, Minnie Knipple of Madison and Edna Norman of Edensburg and one brother, William R. Creel of Culpeper.

Additional survivors include three grandchildren, Andrew Brian Lohr, Julie Anne Lohr and William D. Shaw.

Mr. Creel was preceded in death by his first, Mary Elizabeth Hawki
