Candidate Deadline

Next Tuesday, June 13 is the last day for candidates to qualify to be on the ballot for the Nov. 7 local election.

Registrar Nancy Leake will be in her office on the side of the Commissioner of Revenue building next Tuesday until 7 p.m. Those who wish to register to vote may do so at this time also.

Candidates Speak

Political candidates, current office holders, and others wanting to speak on July 4 during the program that begins at noon, please contact Bev Atkins at 675-3843 or Ellen Manson at 675-1349.

Brochures Available

New Washington Town Brochures can be picked up at Ragged Mountain Resource Center from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. weekdays or call Hunt Harris at 675-1879. They will also be available at the next Washington Business Council Meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 5 in the Town Hall.
