The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR, made a Pilgrimage to historical places in Old Alexandria on May 9 with Mrs. Edgar F. Puryear, Jr. in charge of arrangements.

Ramsay House, build circa 1724, is now the Visitors Center and a walking tour of the Old City area was taken, including visits to Christ Church which both George Washington and Robert E. Lee attended and the Old Presbyterian Meeting House also build at approximately the same time.

In the burial grounds of the latter church is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the Revolutionary' War and
