For School Board Dennis Wingfield and Sam Snead have qualified from Piedmont District. Bryant Fee has qualified from Hampton District; Ron Makela has qualified from Jackson District, and Paul Nichols has qualified from Wakefield District.

Announcements of who is on the ballot for seats in the General Assembly will come from the State Board of Elections in Richmond, but it appears Democrat Sue Scheer will be challenging Republican incumbent Jay Katzen for the 31st House of Delegates seat, and the Democratic Party will not challenge incumbent Republican Kevin Miller for the 26th District State Senate seat.
