The Virginia Baptist Student Union Summer Missions Program consisting of seven committed young Christians who make up this special ministry team and their desire to practice and share there faith by serving with churches will conduct services at the Washington Baptist Church on Thursday, June 15 until Sunday, June 18. Worship services will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

A hike up Devil Stairs is planned with the Youth Groups on Saturday leaving from the church at 8 a.m. The Creative Arts Ministry Team will conclude services at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

We hope to see you at these services of seven creative, inspirational and entertaining young people said a spokesperson of the church.

Tuesday evening Mrs. Sarah Brown, Amanda and Bobbie Jo, Mrs. Ann Simmons and Mrs. Ruth Clark were among those attending the prekindergarten graduation class of Samantha Falls, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Falls of Woodville at The Child Development Center in the Culpeper Baptist Church.

Happy wedding anniversary to John and Linda Clark who celebrated their day son Wednesday, June 7.

Happy birthday to Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell in Front Royal who’s day is Monday, June 12.

Wednesday night Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and daughters, Sarah and Bobbie Jo and Mrs. Ruth Clark attended the Rappahannock County High School Athletic Banquet.

Sunday afternoon Miss Susan Hunt hosted a Piano Recital at Blackwater Homestead in Boston in which 11 students participated. This writer’s granddaughter, Bobbie Jo Brown was one of the students in the Recital. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and sister, Amanda also attended.
