In the month or so before Christmas, so many of us wind up exhausted and harried, unable to enjoy the pleasure the season brings. We hurry to shop, cook, entertain and shop some more; we try to squeeze as much4 “fun” into the holiday as possible.
In the process, we make ourselves and everyone around us tense and unhappy.
Slow down. It’s easier said than done, but it is possible.
A stroll through the quaint shops in Warrenton, I he Plains, Middleburg or Marshall will provide quite a different experience than squeezing into one of the mega malls, for instance.
