Santa's Chocolate PB&J Thumbprint Cookies (Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies) 2 cups (11.5-ounce package) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mega Morsels, divided 1 1/2 cups all-purpose Hour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter (not all-natural) 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 eggs 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1/2 cup jelly Microwave I 1/2 cups morsels in medium, microwave-safe bowl on high power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10 to 20 second intervals, stirring until smooth; cool to room temperature. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Beat sugar, peanut butter, butter and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Beat in melted chocolate. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in (lour mixture. Cover; chill for 45 minutes or just until firm. Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls; press thumb into tops to make about 1/2-inch deep depressions. Placed on ungreased baking sheets. tr k.
