award in October. Jim Clark, who finished his project, should receive his award in December. The national average is less than 1 percent out of 100 scouts will ever become an Eagle Scout. This shows Mr. Nichols dedication and the great support of this community that together, more young men have had the scouting experience and opportunity to become eagle Scouts.

So this community deserves a good pat on the back for supporting Mr. Nichols and Troop 36 in developing some of the finest young men in today’s society.

If the community continues its great support of Troop 36, I feel with the new leadership and new sponsorship, Troop 36 will continue to strive for the greatest achievement, “eagle scout.”
