It was probably inevitable that the world of personal, portable computing would get wrapped up in the ubiquitous school backpack.
The High Sierra Sport Company has introduced a backpack made especially for students who rely on laptop computers to help them earn their college degrees.
High Sierra Sport Company President Hank Bembaum, remembering his own college days, has developed the Legacy computer backpack with rough handling in mind.
The backpack has Bernbaum’s “designed-with-experience” reinforced, rigid frame-padded main compartment. The computer is further protected by an adjustable “cocoon” system that suspends it above the bottom of the bag.
The cocoon wraps itself around the equipment, so the shocks and jolts of travel cannot reach the computer’s fragile hard disk and circuit boards. The backpack also has a pocket for organizing business tools, and a large compartment
